To be a consultant is often to be asked what exactly your job entails. Add in the term "Change Management" and eyebrows are additionally raised. In this article, we briefly explain how we work at Arch and what 'being a consultant' means to us. We give you a hint: trusted advisorship!
The Arch way of working
When you consult the Oxford Dictionary for the definition of consulting, you get the following phrasing: "giving advice on a particular subject". In our case, that is all things change and transformation. But our approach is not as general as the definition.
At Arch, we want to support our clients in their transformation challenges. And those challenges can range from strategy definition to delivering a particular profile for a project. As long as it falls within our three service lines: Strategy Implementation, Technology Transformation and People & Organisation.
Trusted advisorship
For Arch, consulting is the inclusion of a specific role, namely that of trusted advisor and partner. Our core business is guiding companies and organisations in the private and public sectors through complex transition or business transformation issues.
This all starts with good analysis, tailor-made work and trust. So your company may need a complete plan or a single piece of the puzzle in a bigger picture. Whatever your change objective, Arch supports on the basis of intense collaboration and a tailor-made transition plan.
Casper Leenders is one of our trusted advisors in service. He joined our team as a consultant in 2020 and has since had many projects to his name, including the i-Police project.
Casper chose to join Arch because he recognised his interest in advisory and fields of expertise in our mission. The fact that he already had experience with process models only made it a stronger match!
Working for Arch
So Arch has an active community focused on three service lines. Each consultant has an expertise, but we aim for everyone to be from multiple fields. This is because they are all people with different backgrounds, content knowledge and experience.
As a client, you can count on a dynamic team that includes several types of consultant. In essence, they all work on change management and they do so either under the title of 'employee' or as 'collaborator'.
