Summer holidays are an opportunity to travel, recharge, draw inspiration from other cultures, your favorite series or podcasts, and your readings.

We have already compiled a list of books to immerse yourself in the art of change management.

Our summer reading list

An Introduction to Change Management

Change management involves guiding changes within your organization. It's a broad theme, encompassing various methodologies and challenges.

Our Archies are passionate about change and love to share their expertise. If you want to learn more about managing change, the following books are a great starting point:

  • "Leading Change" by John P. Kotter
  • "ADKAR: A Model for Change" by J. Hiatt
  • "Six Batteries of Change" by Pieter de Prins
  • "The Human Guide to Managing Change" by Paul Taylor

A more specific taste?

The Archies have different experiences, skills, and interests, which are also reflected in their summer readings!

  1. Employer Engagement

We have books on employer engagement that delve into the question of employee commitment and enthusiasm in the workplace. How do you measure and manage these elements? What impact do they have on the work atmosphere and consequently on the entire organization? You'll find answers to these questions in the following two books: "Employer Engagement, What Else?" by Lommatzsch and van Belle, and "The Art of Employee Engagement" by M. van Faassen. Employer engagement is an important aspect of the People & Organization focus.

  1. Communication

The importance of communication in change projects cannot be underestimated. It serves as the bridge connecting leaders to their team and the compass guiding them together through uncertainty. While many books have been written on strategic communication, today we'll focus on "Communication for Change Management" by Gifford Thomas. This book effectively summarizes the channels you can use as a manager during change, the usefulness of communication, and the goals it can help achieve.

  1. Other Awardees

The Archies are characterized by their versatility. That's why you'll also find books on strategy, performance management, organizational management, and teamwork.
